Welsh Language Development

We are committed to helping our pupils develop confidence and enjoyment in using the Welsh language. Throughout the year, children will take part in Welsh lessons multiple times each week, building on the skills and knowledge they have already developed.

We will also focus on increasing the use of incidental Welsh throughout the school day, encouraging pupils to use Welsh naturally in conversations, routines and classroom activities. By providing regular opportunities to hear and speak Welsh, we aim to help children become more confident, enthusiastic and independent Welsh speakers.

Together, we will continue to celebrate and promote the Welsh language as an important part of our school's identity and culture.
