We encourage punctuality at all times but appreciate that there may be times when things don’t quite go to plan. It can be disruptive for both the pupil and the class as a whole when a child arrives late to class.  If you are unavoidably delayed the procedure is as follows:

• Pupils must be accompanied to the main office.
• The person dropping-off must report the reason for the lateness in the pupil log book.
• You will need to indicate to the office staff that your child wishes to have a hot school lunch so that they can make their dinner choice.
• Your child will be taken through to their class by a member of staff.

Failure to follow the above procedure may result in your child receiving an "absent" mark.

Frequency of lateness is monitored by the school and the Education Welfare Officer.
