What you need to know:

🚶Walking Home 🏠

Once the online consent forms have been signed and returned to school, your children will be allowed to walk home at the end of the day. They may bring a mobile phone but it must be given straight to the teacher as soon as they arrive at school and it will be locked away until the end of the school day. Children must not use the phones until they have left the school site.

🏏 PE ⚽️ 

Friday

Please provide your child with a PE kit. P.E kit is black shorts/leggings/joggers and a white t-shirt and appropriate footwear.

The children will get changed in school and return their kit home each week or if they would prefer they can wear their kit to school on P.E days.

🌳 Forest🌲 

Thursday

Dosbarth Eryr have a dedicated outdoor learning session on Thursday. Please make sure your child brings in waterproof clothing and suitable footwear to change in to.  When the weather is cold, please make sure your child has plenty of warm layers, hat and gloves.  Please bring a bin liner or plastic bag to take dirty/wet clothes home in.

Please note that we will also utilise the outdoor learning environment at other times throughout the week too! Apologies in advance for any extra washing needed!

Spelling Test

New spelling words uploaded to Spell Blast and our class page every Friday ready to practise for the test the following Friday. 

💡Top tips💡 

• Talk to us - even if you think it's something small, we are always willing to listen. I am always on the door at the start and end of the day so happy to chat about any concerns. 
• Label everything!
• If in doubt, please ask! 

🍎Snack🍓

The children are invited to bring a piece of fruit or vegetable and water with
them to school each day. 

Reminder: We are a nut-free school.
