On Tuesday 25th March, Dosbarth Eryr will be visiting Plantasia to develop our understanding of predators and prey and how they have adapted in the race for survival.
The coach will pick us up from school at 9:30am and we will be back in school by the end of the school day for collection as usual.
The children need to bring a packed lunch and a coat in case it rains.
If it is a sunny day, it can get quite warm inside the zoo so please ensure your child brings water with them. I would also recommend children to wear something light but they also need to be in school uniform.
Thank you for your support - I'm sure it's going to be a great day!
St David's Day is approaching and we are looking forward to our Gwyl Cymru celebrations on the first week back after half-term! As a school we are hosting art competitions for every year group. Year 6's theme is photography and the focus is The Beauty of Wales. All entries must be returned to school by Monday 3rd March ready to be judged and displayed. I hope you are excited to take part and that it will help you to see the extensive beauty we have right on our doorsteps in South Wales - I look forward to seeing your entries!
On Tuesday 4th February, we are very excited to be taking part in a drama workshop. This will take place from 9:15-11:30 at school so your child does not need to bring anything with them. This workshop aims to develop the children's understanding of soliloquies through using drama to bring 'The Wild Robot' to life. I am hoping that this opportunity to experience the Expressive Arts will be a positive and inspiring experience for all. 🤖🎭
