After half-term, we will be focussing on multiplication and division in maths lessons. 

This includes:

• Common factors 
• Common multiples 
• Rules of divisibility 
• Prime numbers to 100
• Square and cube numbers 
• Multiplying up to a 4 digit number by a 2 digit number 
• Solving problems with multiplication and division
• Short division 
• Long division 
• Order of operations 

A really good start to multiplication and division is to have a good grasp of your times tables so if we can brush up on these over half-term, that would really benefit our work in class. :)

Dear Parents/Carers,

As part of our science topic on Forces, the children will soon be working on an exciting hands-on project: creating their own marble runs! To make this possible, we would be very grateful for any recyclable materials you could send in, such as:

• Cardboard boxes (any size, cereal boxes work well)

• Toilet/kitchen roll tubes

• Other small, sturdy recyclable items that could be useful for building

Thank you to people who have already brought in materials and thank you for your continued support. We're looking forward to seeing the children’s creativity in action!
